MEASURABLE INDICATORS On what outcomes are we focusing? What is the source of the data?	WHAT? What does the data say? What trends do we see?	SO WHAT? Why is this important to our school community? Why should we focus on this trend?	WHAT ELSE? What additional information is needed to deepen our analysis?	NOW WHAT? Academic Performance sample indicators include: % of students scoring FBB/BB on the CST in Math, ELA, etc. Performance of sub-groups on the CST CAHSEE pass rate Performance on benchmark assessments (by grade level, subgroup, etc.) Trends over grade levels (looking at matched student data)
School Culture/Climate sample indicators include: Attendance Rates Suspension Data % of students reporting they feel safe at school Discipline referrals % of students returning Student engagement
Professional Culture sample indicators include: What teaching or instructional strategies are teachers using at each grade level How effective are those instructional/teaching strategies? % of teachers reporting they are supported
Family and Community Engagement sample indicators include: % of parents indicating they are satisfied with the school Opportunities exist for parents to engage with teachers around student learning
